Redding Civic Auditorium's volunteer ushers serve as emissaries for live entertainment in Redding and are a friendly guide to all who enter our facility and events. What we strive to accomplish everyday at the Redding Civic Auditorium would not be possible without our invaluable volunteer team. Please review the following information about the range of duties our volunteer ushers have at our various events.
Our volunteer ushers take an active role in supporting the Redding Civic Auditorium
Greeting and guiding our patrons and visitors
Helping direct our guests to their seats for reserved seating concerts and events
Interacting with children and families during family and community programs
Assisting our guests in navigating the services available during their visit
Providing assistance to visitors during special events
Answering questions about our facility, concerts and events
Our events happen both inside the auditorium and outside on our front lawns. Our larger live entertainment events include music concerts, comedy shows, and theater performances. Redding Civic Auditorium is also used for large rental events sponsored by a host of professional organizations and concert promoters. Our volunteers greet and direct patrons, help them find assigned seats, and assist our guests in navigating the services available to them during their visit.
