TUESDAY, JULY 4TH
6–9:55 PM: VENDORS OPEN
7 PM: LIVE MUSIC BEGINS
10 PM: FIREWORKS BEGIN
The City of Redding will host its annual fireworks show on Tuesday, July 4 at 10 pm at the Redding Civic Auditorium grounds. This free show is one of the largest in California with over 1,700 shells produced by Pyro Spectacular. Food vendors will be on-site to provide drinks and snacks starting at 6 pm. Be sure to arrive between 6–9 pm, as the Sundial Bridge will be closed at 9 pm. The firework show is scheduled to start at 10 pm. The soundtrack for the show will begin playing on Today’s Country Q97 FM at 10 pm.
As the 4th of July approaches, the Redding Fire Department and the City of Redding want to remind the community that ALL fireworks are illegal in Shasta County without a permit, including in the City of Redding. Fireworks cause fires! It’s not worth the risk of wildfire or the fines. Please leave the fireworks to the experts. The use of drones will NOT be permitted during the entirety of the show.
A special thank you to the McConnell Foundation for providing the funding again this year for the fireworks show. We look forward to a happy and safe 4th of July!
