Project Homeless Connect

The City of Redding and the Shasta County Homeless Continuum of Care Council identified over 3,000 local individuals who were homeless or imminently at-risk of becoming homeless in 2012. Tragically over 700 of those individuals were children. To combat this challenge, our community has come together to offer an innovative solution by hosting Project Homeless Connect at the Redding Civic Auditorium.

This one-stop resource-collaborative offers numerous vital services in one location; helping our guests to accomplish, in one day, things that would normally take months to do. Last year, we were able to provide over 1,200 people with assistance in obtaining identification, housing, veteran’s services, employment, education, children’s services, legal aid, medical services, prescription glasses, dental aid, food, and much more.

How you can help:
Cash donations are desperately needed to make this a success! Contributions can be made payable to Northern Valley Catholic Social Service. Please include PHC in the memo line.
Volunteers can register online.
